The Lower Mountain Anglican Church in the Blue Mountains recently refurbished their church hall, facing a significant challenge with acoustics. The space, featuring glass walls and a large open area, suffered from excessive reverberation. This issue negatively impacted the quality of events and gatherings. As part of the refurbishment, addressing the acoustic concerns was essential to create a comfortable environment for the congregation.
To resolve the acoustic problems, we installed 13 Autex Quietspace Panels. Each panel measured 2.4 meters by 1.2 meters and was 50mm thick, with a sleek Nude White finish. We placed these panels strategically on the ceiling to effectively minimize reverberation throughout the large space. As a result, the noise reduction significantly improved, impressing the client with the enhanced sound quality.
