Installation
Installing your Quietspace® Acoustic Panels is a straightforward process, suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals. Â
To help you achieve a flawless and professional finish, follow these essential tips:
- Careful Handling and Storage: Store your panels flat and in a clean area to prevent damage. Remember, no bending or folding.
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and smooth. For glossy finishes, a light sanding will help the adhesive stick better.
- Adhesive Application: Apply the adhesive recommended by the manufacturer evenly across the panel, waiting for it to become tacky — this ensures a stronger bond.Â
- Secure the Panel: Position your panel and press from the centre out to the edges. Use a roller to apply firm, even pressure and secure the panel.

FAQ
Q: How do I choose the right thickness for my Quietspace® Panels?
A: The thickness needed depends on your specific sound absorption requirements. Thicker panels generally offer better noise reduction, with 50 mm and above providing the highest NRC rating of 1.00.
Q: Can I install these panels on a curved surface?
A: Yes, Quietspace® Panels can be installed on gently curved surfaces. Make sure to follow the installation guide closely for the best results.
Q: Are Quietspace® Panels suitable for high humidity areas?
A: The panels have a low water vapour sorption, making them suitable for most indoor environments, but they should not be exposed to continuous high humidity.
Q: What’s the best way to clean Quietspace® Panels?
A: For general cleaning, a damp cloth will do. For more stubborn stains or for panels with Vertiface® fabric, refer to the Care and Maintenance Guide or consider professional cleaning services.
Q: How do Quietspace® Panels contribute to my project’s green building certifications?
